In the process of protein synthesis, translation is the step where protein chain is formed by reading the codes on mRNA. The amino acids involved in making the protein are joined by forming peptide bond. This process of bonding requires energy. During the translation process the amino acids are activated in presence of ATP and respective tRNA to allow peptide bind formation.
