Given, wave equation, y=0.02sin(5πx−20t)m
As we know that,
Minimum distance between two particles =2 Wavelength (λ)
and according to wave equation,
Wave number, k=5πm−1
Angular frequency, boldsymbol ω=20 rads −1
Since, k=λ2π ∴λ=k2π=5π2π =52=0.4m ∴ Minimum separation between two particles =20.4=0.2m
