Self fertilization is the union of male and female gametes produced by the same individual i.e., from a bisexual individual. Cross fertilization is the fertilization of male and female gametes produced by different individual. Isogamous means fusion of isogametes (i.e., of same morphology and physiology). Viviparous means gives birth to young ones.
